All of the images were taken from the 51st floor of the Mansion on Peachtree Street, near Lenox Square. The afternoon and evening brought more dramatic light effects on the area surrounding the Mansion. Hope you enjoy!
Drawing and painting has been a part of my life as long as I can remember. At an early age I decided that being an artist was my path through life and to date I've had the good fortune to pursue a life following my passion.
At an early age I started my studies with Antonio Mani an Italian portrait painter who taught me the importance of the fundamentals of drawing, color and composition. I apprenticed under his direction for 3 years and still feel his influence in every brush stroke and line I make. I later studied at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco where I earned a BFA Degree in Advertising and Illustration.
I now teach drawing and painting privately and through various art centers as well as workshops. I paint portraits and commissioned works such as murals and decorative pieces and show my work through galleries in both the Atlanta and Birmingham area. I'm seeking an abundance of opportunities to pass on my experience and knowledge to others and share my gifts with the world, which this blog is but a small step.
